[AKYUNG Poll] Reasons for Supporting Kim Eun-hye: "Excellent in Policy Implementation and Communication Skills"
19.8% Because of Being a People Power Party Candidate
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] The reason why Kim Eun-hye, the People Power Party candidate, was considered the most suitable candidate for the next governor of Gyeonggi Province in the upcoming June 1 local elections was mainly due to her outstanding ability to implement campaign promises.
On the 29th, Asia Economy commissioned Realmeter to survey 1,010 voters aged 18 and over from the 27th to 28th. Among the 467 respondents who answered that Kim was the most suitable candidate for the next governor of Gyeonggi Province, 27.9% cited "outstanding ability to implement campaign promises" as the reason, the highest percentage.
Following that, "excellent communication skills" accounted for 25.2%, showing a similar response rate.
Next were "because she is a People Power Party candidate" at 19.8%, "because she is a former National Assembly member representing Gyeonggi Province" at 9.9%, and "because of high name recognition" at 5.2%.

This survey was conducted by Realmeter on behalf of Asia Economy over two days, the 27th and 28th, by attempting to contact 57,108 voters aged 18 and over residing in Gyeonggi Province. A total of 1,010 respondents completed the survey, resulting in a response rate of 1.8%. The survey was conducted using an automated response method with 90% mobile and 10% landline calls, employing a random digit dialing method based on a randomly generated sampling frame. Statistical adjustments were made using rim weighting by gender, age group, and region based on the March 2022 resident registration population statistics from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. The sampling error is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
