The new product, featuring sophisticated colors such as Solid Beige, Solid Cream White, Solid Clay Brown, and Solid Black, harmonizes well with the entire home interior and sensibly transforms the atmosphere of the kitchen space.
The LG PuriCare Dual Water Purifier is a built-in type installed under the sink cabinet with only the water outlet exposed externally. It does not take up much space, allowing for a wider cooking area.
This new product has newly applied a high-temperature sterilization function that sterilizes the entire internal section of the water purifier through which drinking water passes with hot water, further enhancing hygiene. From the filter that purifies the water to the direct water pipe, it is sterilized weekly with high temperature, keeping the inside of the water purifier clean without worries about bacteria or water scale.
According to tests conducted by LG Electronics in collaboration with the Korea Testing & Research Institute and others, the high-temperature sterilization function of the new product removed 99.99% of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The water outlet can be sterilized with high temperature whenever the customer desires, and it is automatically sterilized periodically with UV LED, allowing for safer use.
Through the smart connectivity function of the LG ThinQ app, linking the water purifier, microwave oven, and dishwasher together makes cooking more convenient. After selecting a cooking recipe for the microwave oven in the LG ThinQ app and pressing the send button, the water purifier automatically adjusts the amount of water according to the recipe, and the dishwasher sets the optimal course suitable for the cooking. Additionally, the app allows users to check the high-temperature sterilization history of the water purifier, filter replacement timing, water usage, and more.
If the new product is used with a 5-year contract based on on-site management, the monthly fee ranges from 44,900 KRW to 46,900 KRW depending on the manager’s visit cycle of 3 or 6 months. If customers rent only the product and manage it themselves, the monthly fee is 42,900 KRW. Extending the contract period to 6 years reduces the monthly fee by 4,000 KRW.
