Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk Extends Disaster Relief Fund Application Period Until May 6
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk Province, is extending the application period for disaster relief funds for all citizens.
The city will accept applications for the COVID-19 disaster relief fund, which provides 200,000 KRW per person to all citizens, until the 6th of next month, extended by one week from the original deadline of the 29th.
This extension was decided to minimize the number of unpaid recipients and to comfort more citizens.
Also, with May being Family Month, visits from family members living in other regions to Sangju are expected to increase, making it likely that many citizens who have not yet applied for the disaster relief fund will do so.
