Dongshin University Selected for Ministry of Education LINC 3.0 Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dongshin University announced on the 28th that it has been selected for the Ministry of Education's '3rd Phase Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Leading University Development Project (LINC 3.0)'.
LINC 3.0 is a comprehensive support project promoted to continuously advance the achievements made through the 1st and 2nd phase LINC projects and to create an industry-academia-research cooperation ecosystem where universities and industries develop together.
Dongshin University will receive approximately 24 billion KRW in support by 2027 and will promote various demand-customized growth projects to nurture talent that meets the needs of the industry and future society.
In particular, it will focus its capabilities on establishing a digital transformation system utilizing industry-academia cooperation data by building a leading model of 'DX-4PLUS Industry-Academia Cooperation centered on Regional Strategic Industries.'
It also plans to build an industry-academia cooperation digital transformation HUB through sharing and collaboration among local government (Ji), industry (San), and academia (Hak), promote digital transformation of regional industries, and expand domestic and international shared and collaborative ecosystems.
To nurture talent in new industries and new technologies, it will activate industry-demand-based curricula and convergence education curricula, and expand joint industry-academia-research projects so that students can gain experience and capabilities in new industries and new technology fields.
Through this, Dongshin University plans to leap forward as a 'Leading University in Digital Transformation of Industry-Academia Cooperation Centered on Regional Strategic Industries.'
It also expects to transform the current open one-stop industry-academia cooperation into data-based shared collaborative industry-academia cooperation and achieve advancement of industry-academia cooperation between universities and regions centered on local communities.
