KB Asset Management Supports 'ETF Idea Survival'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] KB Asset Management announced on the 28th that it will sponsor Sampro TV's nationwide investment idea survival contest, 'Investment with the STAR.'
The investment idea survival contest features general participants presenting ideas, which are then upgraded through expert coaching. The total prize money is 50 million KRW, and the contest will be available on Sampro TV's YouTube channel on Saturday afternoons for eight weeks starting in early June.
This project, sponsored by KB Asset Management, provides an opportunity for individual investors to have their investment ideas objectively verified and to grow, aiming to foster a healthy investment culture.
Yook Dong-hwi, Head of ETF Consulting at KB Asset Management, explained, "Survival contest participants will be given opportunities to participate in future in-house internship programs," adding, "Ideas that can be commercialized are planned to be launched as actual KBSTAR ETF products."

Applicants can apply on Sampro TV's YouTube channel until midnight on the 5th of next month. Twelve applicants who pass document screening and interviews will be given missions. After completing two final missions, the top three will compete in the finals to determine the winner. The finals and semifinals, held from early June to the end of July, will take place at the Sampro TV Open Studio, allowing the general public to attend.
