Korea Exchange Holds 2nd Launch Ceremony for Derivatives Study Group 'KRX FutureStar'
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] The Korea Exchange announced on the 27th that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 2nd class of 'KRX FutureStar' at the Capital Market History Museum in the Busan International Finance Center in the afternoon.
KRX FutureStar is a derivatives study group operated by the Korea Exchange for university students in the Busan area.
At the inauguration ceremony, Sohn Byung-doo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, Kim Yoon-il, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Busan Metropolitan City, and Park In-ho, Representative of the Busan Economic Revival Citizens' Coalition, attended to offer congratulations and encouragement.
The 2nd class of FutureStar was composed of 10 teams with 38 selected students from five universities located in Busan. They will be active from next month until December.

Based on the high participation and achievements of the 1st class of FutureStar last year, the Exchange explained that the 2nd class was selected at twice the scale compared to the previous year.
