Credit Recovery Committee Conducts Education for Financially Vulnerable Groups in Gyeonggi-do
Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation Sign Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The Credit Recovery Committee will provide various support and financial education to financially vulnerable groups in the Gyeonggi-do region.
The Credit Recovery Committee announced on the 27th that it will sign a 'Business Agreement for Supporting Financially Vulnerable Groups' with Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation on the 28th.
Accordingly, from next month, each organization will provide financial support along with credit and financial education to prevent credit problems in financially vulnerable groups within Gyeonggi-do in advance and help them achieve economic independence.
The Credit Recovery Committee will conduct the program mainly divided into 'Gyeonggi Ultra-Low Credit Loan User Education' and 'Visiting Education.' The 'Gyeonggi Ultra-Low Credit Loan User Education' will provide online education to 19,000 loan applicants to improve credit and debt management skills, including rational consumption and saving, credit management methods, and prevention of financial fraud.
The 'Visiting Education' will be conducted by credit education specialists visiting elementary, middle, and high schools, universities, and welfare organizations in connection with 19 local financial welfare support centers within the province.
Additionally, support for personal debt adjustment will be further strengthened in cooperation with Gyeonggi-do for financially vulnerable groups facing difficulties due to excessive debt.
