Providing TV Home Shopping Entry Opportunities to 87 Excellent SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 27th that it has discovered a total of 87 excellent small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) products through the '1-on-1 Merchandiser (MD) Consultation' targeting 14 metropolitan cities and provinces, which has been conducted since March.
The 1-on-1 MD consultation, which started in March with Jeonbuk and Incheon, passed through major regions such as Gangwon, Gwangju, and Jeju, and concluded nationwide with Gyeonggi on the 26th, completing the event in 14 metropolitan cities and provinces. Due to the spread of COVID-19, some regions held the consultations online and non-face-to-face.
Home&Shopping discovered a total of 87 excellent SME products through this regional MD consultation and evaluation process. The finally selected products will go through commercialization processes such as being handled by the responsible MD, QA (Quality Assurance), and broadcast review, and will be sold to consumers nationwide through the Ilsa Cheonri program starting in June.
Among the 87 products, 17 were selected as 'Nationwide No.1 Rural Products.' The MD will directly visit the local sites to plan the products, and representatives or developers of partner companies will appear as guests on TV home shopping broadcasts, securing program diversity.
