Dongshin University-Jeonnam Women and Family Foundation Sign MOU for Establishing Gender-Equal University Culture
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the afternoon of the 26th, Dongshin University signed a business agreement with the Jeonnam Women and Family Foundation in the affiliated office meeting room to establish a gender-equal university culture and create an environment for spreading awareness.
The two organizations will operate gender equality projects and educational programs targeting Dongshin University students, spread a culture of gender equality awareness within the university, support violence prevention education by department, and work to prevent dating violence and sexual violence on campus.
They will also join forces to discover and nurture local experts in the field of gender equality through sharing and exchanging human and material resources.
An Kyung-joo, Director of the Jeonnam Women and Family Foundation, said, “There is a significant shortage of local human resources in the field of gender equality,” and added, “We plan to conduct gender equality education linked with the university’s excellent educational resources.”
