Korea Railroad Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters Conducts 'Hope Bapcha' Volunteer Activities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Korea Railroad (KORAIL) Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced on the 26th that it will conduct the 'Hope Meal Truck' volunteer activity to deliver food kits to underprivileged groups at risk of food insecurity around the railway in cooperation with the Suncheon City Volunteer Center.
This event involved about 30 volunteers from the KORAIL Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters social volunteer group and the Suncheon City Volunteer Center, who packed processed foods and meal substitutes and delivered them to about 100 underprivileged households in the region.
The Hope Meal Truck project started in April and will continue to be carried out every last Tuesday of the month targeting underprivileged groups in the Suncheon area.

A KORAIL social volunteer who participated in the volunteer activity said, "I am glad to participate in this meaningful community service," and added, "We will continue sharing activities to support neighbors in need in the region."
