Gwangju Fire Department Strengthens Fire Safety Management for 2022 Archery World Cup
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Fire Safety Headquarters will strengthen fire safety management at stadiums and accommodation facilities in preparation for the '2022 Archery World Cup' to be held from June 17 to 22.
The Fire Safety Headquarters will conduct a special fire inspection by May 6 on three stadiums and five accommodation facilities to check ▲performance of fire safety manager duties ▲appropriateness of fire facilities and evacuation equipment ▲use of unauthorized hazardous materials ▲self-inspection documents, etc., to eliminate fire risk factors in advance.
If any defects are found in fire facilities, immediate correction will be enforced.
Additionally, during the archery competition period, ambulances and paramedics will be stationed at the stadiums to prepare for emergencies and establish an emergency patient transport system.
