Lotte Cinema Ranked No.1 in National Customer Satisfaction for 7 Consecutive Years
Strengthening the Core Competitiveness and Services of Movie Theaters for Growth
Lotte Cinema announced on the 25th that it has ranked first for seven consecutive years in the movie theater service sector of the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey. The NCSI is a corporate satisfaction indicator conducted by the Korea Productivity Center. It measures satisfaction by interviewing customers who have experience using products or services. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, Lotte Cinema strengthened its core competitiveness and services as a movie theater, earning high scores. Fulfilling social responsibility also played a part. In January last year, Lotte Cinema declared itself an "Eco-friendly Cinema." It uses recyclable popcorn containers and biodegradable straws. It also carries out social contribution activities such as contactless film production education, sharing cultural experiences, and employee volunteer work. A Lotte Cinema representative said, "We will become a leading movie theater that satisfies customers by fulfilling social responsibilities and providing differentiated experiences incorporating the latest technologies."
