Post-Corona Beauty and Wellness Themed Tourism Product Contest... 400 Million Won Support
Selection of 20 Products for Comprehensive Travel Agencies in Seoul... Up to 20 Million KRW Support per Agency
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation are holding a beauty and wellness themed tourism product contest to capture the newly reorganized tourism market in the post-COVID-19 era. This contest, aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of travel agencies with excellent tourism content, will run until May 18.
On the 26th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation announced that they are openly recruiting competitive new normal tourism products with beauty and wellness themes linked to Seoul's tourism resources. The contest will select products that reflect the latest tourism trends of the post-COVID-19 era, such as personalization, safety, and non-face-to-face experiences, while showcasing Seoul's charm.
Travel agencies registered as comprehensive travel agencies located in Seoul can apply online. The final 20 tourism products will be selected through a first-round business plan evaluation and a second-round presentation review. Selected travel agencies will receive up to 20 million KRW per company to support content production costs and online promotion and marketing expenses for digital transformation.
Additionally, expert consulting reflecting industry demand will be provided to improve the marketability and product quality of the tourism products. The expert consulting will be conducted in small groups by field, including product development, promotion and marketing, product sales, and management. The plan is to strengthen networks among companies and efficiently deliver know-how.
