Yeonggwang Small Cinema to Host 'Gunmin Invitation Film Preview' Starting Next Month 4

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do, will hold the ‘Mental Health Comfort Citizens Invitation Movie Preview’ for 10 days from May 4 to 20 in celebration of Family Month in May.

According to the county on the 25th, this preview was prepared to comfort the weary hearts of citizens through watching the latest movies and to share the joy of culture and the pleasure of watching movies together amid the return to daily life after 2 years and 1 month.

The county plans to screen the children’s movie ‘Thor: The Legend of the Magic Sword’ for 8 days from May 4 to 18, and it will be conducted as group viewings through local daycare centers and kindergartens.

The preview movies (scheduled) for Yeonggwang citizens (adults) are ‘The Outlaws 2’, ‘Spring Day’, and ‘I Want to See Your Parents’ Faces’, and viewing tickets will be distributed collectively to each eup and myeon from May 4 to 10.

Individual Yeonggwang citizens can receive viewing tickets on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to 2 tickets per person) on the day of the movie screening from May 11 to 20.

This invitation preview is only applicable to Yeonggwang citizens residing in the county, and residents from other regions are restricted.

Also, the preview movies may be changed due to circumstances of the production or distribution companies, and admission age will be restricted according to the movie rating.

According to government policy, social distancing inside the screening rooms has been completely lifted, but only beverages are allowed during the invitation preview period.

A county official said, “We hope that the Mental Health Comfort Citizens Invitation Movie Preview in May’s Family Month will provide some comfort and healing to the citizens of Yeonggwang-gun,” and added, “We will make Yeonggwang Small Theater a space where families can enjoy precious time comfortably together.”
