[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Launched in March, the GV70 is Genesis's mid-size luxury electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV). The GV70 is equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery. The maximum driving range on a single charge is 400 km. With a 350 kW ultra-fast charger, it can charge from 10% to 80% battery capacity in 18 minutes. The combined power consumption efficiency is 4.6 km/kWh. Additionally, it features a disconnector drive system that can separate or connect the motor and drive shaft on the front wheels depending on driving conditions. It freely switches between 2WD and AWD driving modes. Furthermore, the brand's first e-Terrain mode is installed. The e-Terrain mode uses the motors to distribute driving force according to the road surface conditions selected by the driver?snow, sand, or mud modes?helping to drive stably on rough terrain.
