Shinhan Card Offers Up to 36 Months Interest-Free Installments for Green Remodeling of Aging Homes
Eliminating Document Submission Process at Banks to Enhance Customer Convenience
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Shinhan Card announced on the 25th that it will provide interest-free installment benefits for up to 36 months to customers who replace windows in old houses in line with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 'Green Remodeling Project.'
The Green Remodeling Project is a nationwide residential environment improvement initiative aimed at enhancing the insulation performance of aging buildings, improving energy efficiency, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. If a real estate owner under their own name undertakes insulation performance work on their house through financial institution loans or installment financing, the government supports the interest on the funding.
For apartments, Shinhan Card offers loans up to 50 million KRW, and for detached houses, up to 100 million KRW, providing interest-free service for 12, 24, and 36-month installments. Customers can receive interest-free benefits simply by applying for Shinhan Card installments, eliminating the need for real estate owners to directly submit documents such as the certified copy of the register, ID card, and project completion certificate to the bank, thereby enhancing customer convenience.
