Since 2019, SK Stoa has maintained its position as the number one in the T-commerce industry, and as TV shopping and online order volumes have continuously increased, it decided to expand and relocate its existing Gunpo logistics center to Gonjiam.
The newly opened Gonjiam Fulfillment Center is approximately 5,000㎡ in size and is located within CJ Logistics’ Gonjiam Mega Hub. It is about three times larger than the existing Gunpo logistics center, and the daily processing volume will also increase more than threefold.
At the Gonjiam Fulfillment Center, SK Stoa plans to offer specialized services beyond simple product delivery processing. The order cutoff time will be extended from 3 PM to midnight to increase the next-day delivery rate up to 97%. When ordering products while watching the SK Stoa channel, most customers will be able to receive their items by the next day. The center’s operating days will also increase from 5 days a week to 6?7 days a week to significantly increase processing volume.
They will also implement a ‘same-day delivery’ service. This service delivers orders placed during broadcasts from midnight until 10:36 AM on the same day, initially targeting the Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi metropolitan areas, with plans to expand further.
Additionally, the center will utilize all the latest logistics systems introduced at CJ Logistics’ Gonjiam Mega Hub, including the Picking Advancement System (MPS), parcel waybill recognition system, and unloading sorting system. The Gonjiam Fulfillment Center’s size is also planned to expand up to approximately 10,000㎡ in the future.
Furthermore, the boxes used for delivery will be replaced with SK Stoa exclusive boxes. As part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, the box logos and texts will be printed using minimal dye.
