"Reduced Fat Content by 40%" Ottogi Launches 'Gabyeoun Chamchi' Tuna
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Ottogi announced on the 25th that it has launched five types of low-fat "Gabyeoun Chamchi" (Light Tuna) with 40% less fat content than before.
'Gabyeoun Chamchi Gochu' (Light Tuna Chili) and 'Gabyeoun Chamchi Yachae' (Light Tuna Vegetable) are classified as low-fat foods with less than 3g of fat per 100g. 'Gabyeoun Chamchi Light Standard' is a product that sets a new standard for low-fat tuna, while 'Gabyeoun Chamchi The Mild' features further reduced oil compared to the existing mild tuna. 'Gabyeoun Chamchi Kimchi Jjigae-yong' (for Kimchi Stew) has upgraded flavor with a secret kimchi stew sauce.
Additionally, Gabyeoun Chamchi has the advantage of being more convenient to enjoy as there is no need to drain the oil separately. To reduce oil for health reasons, vegetable juice and clam extract were added to enhance the tuna flavor, and a special sauce was used to further elevate the seasoned tuna taste.
