Martial Arts, Launches 'Overseas Technology Verification (PoC) Support Project'... Applications Open from 25th
Up to 10 Million KRW per Company for Technology Demonstration Costs and Consulting Support for 10 Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]The Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology announced on the 25th that they are recruiting companies to participate in the ‘2022 Global Proof of Concept (PoC) Individual Support Project.’
Through this project, the two organizations plan to provide up to 10 million KRW per company for PoC costs, intellectual property protection, and PoC consulting to 10 domestic startups and SMEs that secure PoC opportunities with overseas large corporations.
Applications can be submitted via InnovBranch from the 25th until August 31st, and related inquiries can be directed to the Trade Association’s Startup Overseas Expansion Office.
Overseas PoC is a valuable means to enter local markets in various forms such as technology export, market development, and joint research and development (R&D) if the results are excellent. However, many startups that receive collaboration proposals from overseas large corporations have not been able to start PoC due to cost issues.
