A man in his 20s investigated by police for damaging 26 luxury cars in a Seoul apartment parking lot
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] A man in his 20s was arrested by the police for damaging more than twenty high-end vehicles in an underground parking lot of an apartment in Seoul.
The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 24th that they have detained and are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of smashing dozens of cars parked in the underground parking lot of an apartment in Hangangno 2-ga, Yongsan-gu, with a blunt object.
Mr. A is accused of damaging 26 high-end vehicles, including foreign sports cars, parked in the underground parking lot around 7:30 a.m. that day (special property damage).
It is reported that Mr. A is a resident of this apartment. It has been confirmed so far that he was neither under the influence of alcohol nor drugs at the time of the crime.
