The 44th GC Green Cross Media Culture Awards Ceremony Held

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] GC Green Cross and the Korean Medical Association announced on the 24th that they jointly held the award ceremony for the '44th GC Green Cross Media Culture Award' at the 74th Regular General Assembly of the Korean Medical Association held at The-K Hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The GC Green Cross Media Culture Award has been presented since 1979 by GC Green Cross and the Korean Medical Association to honor journalists who have contributed to public health and the development of the medical community, and to promote the advancement of media culture. This year, four recipients were honored: Lee Hyo-yeon, a reporter from KBS; Kim Tae-yeol, senior health and medical reporter from Herald Economy; Kim Hak-jun, reporter from Medical Association Newspaper; and Hong Mi-hyun, reporter from Doctor Newspaper. Each of the four selected awardees received a plaque and a cash prize.
The awardees were finally selected through an objective evaluation and review by the judging committee based on the recruitment announcement posted on the Korean Medical Association website.
