Lotte and Hyundai Construction Win Remodeling Contract for Seonsa Hyundai in Gwangjin-gu... 3,328 Units, Largest Scale in Korea
The consortium of Lotte Construction and Hyundai Construction (Landmark Project Team) has secured the remodeling project for Seonsa Hyundai Apartments in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, marking the largest remodeling project in South Korea's history.
According to the maintenance industry on the 24th, the Landmark Project Team was selected as the construction company at the general meeting held the previous day at Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Seonsa Hyundai Apartments is a large complex located at 11 Sangam-ro, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, on a site of approximately 68,996㎡, consisting of 16 apartment buildings with 2,938 households ranging from three basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, making it the largest remodeling scale in the country. Through horizontal expansion remodeling work, it will be transformed into 16 apartment buildings with 3,328 households ranging from five basement floors to 29 above-ground floors.
The construction cost is approximately 1.09 trillion KRW, and it is expected that the residential environment will be greatly improved by fulfilling the previously insufficient parking facilities and community amenities through the remodeling project.
The Landmark Project Team proposed the complex name 'Libertyge Gangdong' for the Seonsa Hyundai Apartments remodeling project. The name combines words such as River and Heritage (Prestige), reflecting the scenic views of the Han River and the dignity of modern architectural heritage, embodying the intention to complete a high-quality residential complex.
Lotte Construction and Hyundai Construction plan to create a landmark luxury residential complex by combining each company's top-level technology and know-how. They proposed a specialized design featuring efficient floor plans following the latest trends to maximize the effects of remodeling. The wider floor plans will incorporate panoramic windows, and three duplex sky communities with views of the Han River, as well as large-scale community facilities including an indoor golf course and an indoor swimming pool, will be established.
To emphasize the fact that it is a large-scale apartment complex by the Han River, landscaping design capabilities will be fully mobilized. Six themed gardens will be created, and a 3.3 km walking trail passing through the complex will connect to Gwangnaru Park by the Han River, allowing residents to naturally enjoy the nature of the Han River.
A representative from Lotte Construction stated, "We will strive to realize a high-quality residential space that takes advantage of the large-scale complex by the Han River," adding, "We will continue to lead the remodeling market by pursuing a selective bidding strategy tailored to the characteristics of each project site."
