Gwangju Seobu Fire Station, Physical Fitness Test to Strengthen On-Site Response Capability
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Seobu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted a physical fitness test for all fire officers.
A total of 227 personnel participated in the fitness test, which took place at Sangmu Citizen's Park. Before starting, thorough warm-up exercises and safety precautions were reviewed to prevent accidents and injuries.
The evaluation items included six categories: ▲grip strength ▲back muscle strength ▲standing long jump ▲sit and reach ▲sit-ups ▲shuttle run, with a perfect score of 60 points. The test results are reflected in the fire officers' training performance evaluations and used as personnel data.
