IBK, First in Financial Sector to Launch 'Seizure-Proof' Military Personnel Salary Safe Account
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 21st that it will launch the 'IBK Soldier Salary Safe Account,' the first in the financial sector to prevent seizure of military personnel's salaries, starting from the 22nd.
This follows IBK Industrial Bank signing a business agreement with the Military Finance Management Group for the 'Soldier Salary Safe Account to Guarantee Human Rights and Improve Service Conditions for Military Personnel.'
The subscription target is individuals receiving military personnel salaries under their real names, and subscriptions can be made through IBK Industrial Bank branches without submitting separate qualification documents.
If there is a record of salary transfers through the Military Finance Management Group in the previous month, electronic financial transfer fees and IBK automated machine transfer fees to other banks are exempted without limit on the number of transactions, and preferential exchange rates up to 70% are applied for major currencies (USD, JPY, EUR) during remittance and currency exchange.
Additionally, mobile educational services such as finance, foreign languages, and hobbies provided by the IBK Cyber Culture Center can be taken free of charge, and details can be checked through the financial services menu on the IBK website.
