Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Achieves ‘Excellent’ Grade in Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation
Active Efforts for Mutual Growth Between Small and Medium Enterprises and Yeosu Gwangyang Port Result in Success
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 21st that it achieved an 'Excellent' rating in the 2021 Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation announced by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
This marks an improvement in the evaluation rating for two consecutive years, following a 'Normal' rating in 2019 and a 'Good' rating in 2020, and the authority explained that it reflects the organization's active efforts to coexist with small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Win-Win Growth Evaluation is a government-led assessment implemented since 2007 to promote win-win cooperation between public institutions and SMEs. It evaluates the performance of each public institution in promoting win-win growth and the results of surveys measuring the perception of partner SMEs.
The authority has carried out various win-win growth activities, including improving the working environment and welfare of local SMEs, supporting domestic and international market access, technology development, and technology protection.

President Park Seong-hyun said, “As a result of our efforts to cooperate and coexist with SMEs and the local community, we have improved our rating for two consecutive years, culminating in an 'Excellent' rating in 2021.
