President Moon presents appointment letter to new BOK Governor Lee Chang-yong
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the morning of the 21st, President Moon Jae-in presented the appointment letter to Lee Chang-yong, the newly appointed Governor of the Bank of Korea, at the Blue House main building.
President Moon approved the appointment of Governor Lee around 6:30 PM the previous day.
After presenting the appointment letter to Governor Lee, President Moon took commemorative photos and moved to the Baekak Room, the reception room, with the attendees for a conversation.

After receiving the appointment letter from President Moon, Governor Lee is scheduled to hold an inauguration ceremony at 3 PM in the convention hall on the first floor of the Booyoung Taepyeong Building in Jung-gu, Seoul, which had been used as the task force (TF) office for the National Assembly confirmation hearing. The term of office is four years starting from that day.
