KB Financial Group Holds Group-wide Lights Out Event for Earth Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] KB Financial Group announced that it will hold a group-wide lights-out event on the 22nd in observance of 'Earth Day.'
Earth Day was first established in 1970 to raise awareness about the seriousness of global environmental pollution, marking its 52nd anniversary this year. In Korea, a nationwide event to turn off lights for 10 minutes starting at 8 p.m. will take place. Major buildings under the group, including KB Kookmin Bank, are also expected to participate.

Along with this, a '10 Minutes to Protect the Earth with KB' event will be held through social networking services (SNS). Participants who post photos of their participation in the lights-out event on their personal SNS with the required hashtags will be entered into a draw to receive prizes.
