"End of 25 Months of Distancing" Shilla Hotel Stretches Out with 'In-Person Classes'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] With the full lifting of social distancing measures after 2 years and 1 month, expectations for the recovery of daily life are rising. In line with the government's quarantine guidelines, the hotel industry, which had focused on 'untact' products, is now gradually introducing face-to-face classes.
According to Seoul Shilla Hotel on the 21st, a flower class will be held until the 26th of next month. The flower class, which was held online last year due to social distancing, has been converted into a small group meeting, offering a time to feel the seasonal sentiment.
Seoul Shilla Hotel’s ‘Blooming Moment’ is a spring season package that includes room relaxation and participation benefits in the flower class. The flower class is conducted by the Shilla Hotel flower team, who have been in charge of flower decorations for weddings of top celebrities and famous personalities, and it has gained high popularity every year from customers who want to learn this year’s trending flower arrangement concepts.
In this flower class, participants can create their own unique flower centerpiece using seasonal flowers such as white and green-toned spring flowers and herbs. The class is held in the business lounge located on the 19th floor of the hotel, with a maximum of 5 teams participating at the same time. This program attracts not only customers who want to learn flower arranging from experts but also those who want to continue the excitement of spring, couples looking for an experience together, and customers preparing gifts ahead of Family Month every year.
This flower class, offered to customers using the ‘Blooming Moment’ package, will be held every Tuesday to Thursday until the 26th of next month. The package includes ▲one night in a deluxe room, ▲participation in the flower class for two people, ▲one Shilla eco bag mini, ▲gym access, and ▲indoor swimming pool benefits for two people.
Shilla Stay has also partnered with CJ CheilJedang to launch the 'Spring Cooking Class' package. This product allows customers planning spring outings to make and taste spring picnic dishes that pair well with champagne.
In Shilla Stay’s ‘Spring Cooking Class,’ unique menus that are rarely encountered in daily life will be introduced, such as ‘Jirashizushi,’ known as "scooping sushi," which looks like scattered raw salmon, cooked shrimp, vegetables, and egg strips, and a salad using ‘couscous,’ a small grain-shaped pasta made by adding moisture to flour.
This cooking class will be held on the 30th of this month at the CJ The Kitchen Cooking Studio on the first floor of the CJ CheilJedang Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, and is free to participate for customers who have pre-registered among package users. Class times can be chosen between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and each class lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
