Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Waives Fees for Resident Registration and Certificate Issuance at Unmanned Civil Service Kiosks
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that starting from the 21st, the fees for two types of resident registration certificates and abstracts issued at unmanned civil service issuance machines, the first of their kind in the region, will be waived.
This is in accordance with the enforcement of the revised 'Gwangsan-gu Ordinance on Fees for Certificates and Other Documents.'
Gwangsan-gu promoted the fee waiver for unmanned civil service issuance machines to enhance convenience in using non-face-to-face administrative services in line with the 'With Corona' era.
Currently, a total of 113 types of civil documents can be issued at unmanned civil service issuance machines, with resident registration certificates and abstracts being the most frequently used documents by residents. Previously, a fee of 200 KRW per issuance was charged, but from the 21st, they can be issued free of charge.
