Un-Printed Idea is an artist support project by the Hyundai Children's Book Museum as part of cultural and artistic support, introducing unpublished picture book works with original ideas and messages to the public. The 1st exhibition was held in 2017, and the 2nd in 2019.
This exhibition introduces works by a total of 12 picture book authors. These artists were selected early this year through a picture book idea contest held since April last year, and the completed works, prepared over about a year, are being unveiled for the first time.
The exhibition features picture books on four themes: wordless picture books, nature and people, nonfiction picture books, and friends. Visitors can also see the authors' dummy books (rough drafts of picture books), original illustrations, and exhibits showing the creative process. Additionally, various art experience spaces and photo zones linked to each work are provided.
