CJ OnStyle Invests 3 Billion KRW in Almondz, Jewelry Platform Operator
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CJ OnStyle announced on the 20th that it will directly invest 3 billion KRW in Visual, which operates the jewelry vertical platform Amonz.
Amonz is the number one jewelry vertical platform in Korea, housing over 1,600 designer jewelry brands. In addition to Amonz, Visual owns several private jewelry brands (PB) such as Mamacasar, and has differentiated capabilities including a fulfillment system capable of one-day delivery.
CJ OnStyle expects that this investment will secure differentiated competitiveness by strengthening the product lineup in the core fashion category. Future prospects also include the development of new PBs utilizing the capabilities of both companies.
