The 'Smart Agriculture Support Center' is a smart farm experience and education facility jointly established by the Nonghyup Central Association and local Nonghyup branches to spread smart farming among small-scale farmers and young farmers. It was first installed at Dongcheonan Nonghyup in January of this year.
To promote the introduction of smart farms, Nonghyup Bank provides free consulting to support center trainees, including know-how on business plan establishment and operation methods, as well as introductions to leading smart farm farmers.
The trainees who attended the meeting said, "Through smart farming experience and education, our understanding of smart agriculture overall has increased, and we have been able to learn key points for transitioning to smart farms, which is very helpful. We hope there will be more customized consulting support for farmers in the future."
Vice President Kim Chun-an said, "To facilitate the transition to smart farming, we will actively support not only specialized consulting such as crop selection and transfer of farming know-how but also provide systematic financial and consulting services from basic farming to stable farming periods for prospective farmers."
