EWK Changes Listing to Kaelum... "Full-Scale Promotion of Aviation Business"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] EWK announced on the 19th that it will change its company name to Kaelum and pursue a listing.
EWK passed a resolution to change its trade name to Kaelum at the regular shareholders' meeting last March. It is known that the company completed the registration under the new name Kaelum and applied for a name change listing.
EWK plans to actively promote its aviation business under the name Kaelum, which means "sky." Its new businesses include cargo plane conversion (P2F), aviation finance, and manufacturing of aircraft parts, covering the entire aviation industry.
Additionally, EWK was recently selected as the final acquirer of Hana ITM, an aircraft engine parts company. Hana ITM supplies turbine mains, seals, and other components to aircraft engine manufacturers such as France's Safran and the United States' General Electric (GE).
