This is the second fruit-flavored product following last year's popular Shine Muscat flavor. With this release, hy plans to expand its frozen snack product lineup and capture the summer beverage market.
Launched in 2016, 'Frozen Yakult' was created by reflecting consumer feedback. It was developed based on the idea of eating Yakult upside down and frozen. It is a hit product with cumulative sales of 400 million bottles.
In particular, the brand's first fruit flavor, 'Frozen Yakult Shine Muscat,' caused a sold-out frenzy immediately after its release last year, gaining word-of-mouth popularity on mom cafes and online communities. Approximately 83,000 units were sold daily, and cumulative sales reached 37 million bottles within 10 months of launch.
The new product uses premium domestic Jeju apple mangoes, known for their high sugar content and refreshing taste. It contains 10 billion CFU of patented probiotics developed with hy's 50 years of technology. Natural sweetener xylitol is added to provide both taste and health benefits.
