According to Gyeongju City on the 19th, at around 11:22 a.m. on the 14th, Kwon Woong-gi (52), the driver of Saecheonnyun Miso Bus No. 200, witnessed flames rising from a compact car hanging on a tow truck near the intersection close to Moa Elementary School in Cheonbuk-myeon, Gyeongju.

The bus’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) at the time captured Kwon extinguishing the fire with the fire extinguisher in full detail.
Kwon said, “I just did what I had to do,” adding, “The mandatory safety training we received once a month at the company seemed to give me confidence in extinguishing the fire.”
