Heo Seong-mu, Mayor of Changwon, and Kim Chun-jin, President of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, pledged to establish a mutually complementary cooperative system for creating a sustainable export ecosystem for Changwon agriculture and spreading a low-carbon dietary culture.
The two organizations agreed to more comprehensively enhance their existing common tasks between institutions in the areas of agricultural product purchase, stockpiling, distribution, and export, and to join forces on ▲establishing a local food virtuous cycle system ▲pioneering overseas markets for agricultural products in Changwon Special City ▲building an integrated food information system project.
They also plan to cooperate and expand exchanges to promote the 2050 agricultural and rural carbon emission total management system prepared by the city’s agricultural sector and aT’s campaign to spread low-carbon dietary culture, thereby expanding various measures for carbon neutrality.
