Namwon Sarang Gift Certificate, Individual Discount Purchase Limit Adjusted from the 1st of Next Month

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, will adjust the individual discount purchase limit for Namwon Sarang Gift Certificates starting from the 1st of next month.

The city announced on the 18th that, considering cost reduction in issuance, user convenience, and prevention of illegal distribution, it plans to increase the discount purchase limit for card and mobile gift certificates while lowering the limit for paper certificates.

Until now, the individual discount purchase limit was 500,000 KRW for paper type and 500,000 KRW for card/mobile type, allowing a maximum purchase of 1,000,000 KRW. However, from next month, the card/mobile limit will be raised to 1,000,000 KRW, while the paper certificate limit will be lowered to 300,000 KRW.

In other words, the total individual discount purchase amount remains 1,000,000 KRW, but only up to 300,000 KRW can be purchased in paper gift certificates, and card/mobile gift certificates can be freely purchased within the discount purchase limit.

Namwon Sarang Gift Certificates, currently issued in various payment methods, offer a 10% discount benefit. So far, sales have reached 251 billion KRW, with over 27,000 users rapidly increasing, firmly establishing its position.

Additionally, by securing 2,616 mobile gift certificate affiliated stores, the city aims to pursue user convenience and support the economic revitalization of small merchants by issuing card-type gift certificates, enabling more citizens to enjoy the benefits of Namwon Sarang Gift Certificates.

A city official stated, “Although the purchase limit is adjusted, the discount rate will continue. We hope citizens will consistently love and use Namwon Sarang Gift Certificates, which protect the local commercial district and help households save money.”
