Gyeongbok University Holds Blood Donation Event at Namyangju Campus
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University recently conducted a blood donation campaign at its Namyangju campus.
Kyungbok University announced on the 18th that it held the "Kyungbok Love Blood Donation Campaign" for enrolled students in front of the outdoor music hall at the Namyangju campus over two days, from the 13th to the 14th.
Organized by the Department of Clinical Pathology and the Student Council, this event was carried out as part of efforts to share the pain and suffering of neighbors and to overcome the critical blood shortage situation amid difficulties in stable blood supply due to the spread of COVID-19.
Park Wan-su, Director of Student Welfare at Kyungbok University's Student Success Office, stated, "We held the Love Blood Donation event to contribute to resolving the difficult blood supply issue caused by COVID-19," adding, "Kyungbok University will continue to promote a culture of sharing by performing social responsibilities through ongoing blood donation volunteer work, medical service, and social service."
