Jeongyojo Gwangju Branch Operates Democracy Movement Lesson Week to Commemorate April 19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju branch of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union (KTU) is conducting democracy movement classes in commemoration of the April 19 Revolution anniversary.
Teachers belonging to the Gwangju and Daegu branches of the KTU will jointly conduct democracy movement classes for high school students from the 19th to the 26th.
The classes were organized to pass on to future generations the spirit of citizens who resisted human rights violations by the state and the strong will toward democratization.
