On the 14th, the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center held a donation ceremony for Bowonsa Temple's contribution.
The ceremony was attended by Bowon Seunim, the head monk of Bowonsa Temple, Kim Jong-cheon, head of Jeonggwan-eup, and Choi Jin-ho, chairman of the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council.
Located in Yangsu Village, Bowonsa Temple has been steadily practicing sharing for the local community since 2020.
The donated funds will be used for the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council's specialized project "Light·Water·Dream Hope Lighthouse."
The "Light·Water·Dream Hope Lighthouse" specialized project supports low-income families to resolve welfare blind spots in Jeonggwan-eup through ▲ health drink support for single-person households ▲ bicycle support for children and adolescents ▲ online learning device support for youth ▲ well-living and well-dying projects for elderly living alone.
