Showbox Decides on 131.6 Billion KRW Paid-in Capital Increase
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Showbox announced on the 18th that it has decided on a third-party allotment paid-in capital increase worth 131.67406 billion KRW against MCG (Maum Capital Group·MCG) to raise operating funds.
The issue price per new share is 5,277 KRW, and the payment date is June 30, 2022.
Earlier, Showbox stated that it would actively enter various content business expansions through a partnership with MCG. Through this paid-in capital increase, MCG will secure about 30% of Showbox's shares, becoming the second-largest shareholder after Orion Holdings.
