[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] LG Uplus is offering long-term mobile subscribers the opportunity to experience the theme park 'Legoland,' which is scheduled to open next month, in advance.
LG Uplus announced on the 18th that it will hold an event in collaboration with Legoland Korea Resort to give out tickets for a one-day early experience of Legoland on the 2nd of next month.
Located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, Legoland is the largest theme park in Asia, featuring seven themed clusters, over 40 rides and attractions, a hotel with 154 rooms, and two cinemas. It is expected to attract more than 2 million visitors annually.
Long-term customers who have used LG Uplus mobile services for more than five years can apply by verifying their identity and entering companion information on the U+ website, then submitting a personal story for their family. LG Uplus will accept submissions until the 25th and will award one-day Legoland tickets to 1,300 people through a lottery. Winners can receive up to four tickets per person, which are valid only for use on the 2nd.
The results of the lottery can be checked on the LG Uplus website on the 26th. Winning customers can experience Legoland with their families using admission tickets received in mobile QR code format.
