Donation of a Total of 160 Million Won to Scholarship Fund Since 2017
[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Kim Gil-dong, the head of Sinan County Fisheries Cooperative, and executives visited Sinan County Office on the 14th and donated a scholarship fund of 30 million won to be used for nurturing local talent.
Kim Gil-dong, the head of the cooperative, stated, “I hope our local students will not be discouraged despite difficult circumstances and continue to pursue their dreams,” and added, “We will consistently support any efforts that help nurture local talent.”
A representative of the scholarship foundation expressed gratitude to the fisheries cooperative staff, saying, “The donated scholarship fund will be used carefully so that students facing significant financial difficulties can focus on their studies without burden.”
