11st Partners with Korea Mars for Dog Food Donation Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] 11st is conducting a ‘Dog Food Donation Campaign’ where customers can participate directly, in collaboration with Korea Mars, a leading pet food brand. This is the first case of Korea Mars organizing a donation campaign with an e-commerce company.
According to 11st on the 18th, for six days until the 23rd, when customers pay a donation amount of 10 won on the 11st page, 11st and Korea Mars will accumulate 400g of dog food ‘Nutro Dog Natural Choice’ per 10 won. Customers can pay up to three times (30 won). To encourage more customers to sympathize with the purpose of this campaign and actively participate in donations, 11st also created a ‘Share’ button that can be used on social networking service (SNS) channels. Up to 3 tons of dog food prepared together with customers will later be donated to the ‘Korea Kennel Federation’ and used for abandoned dog protection and support projects.
11st stated, “We have been closely collaborating with Korea Mars and have prepared various promotions for pet families, and now we have taken a step further to spread the right awareness about coexistence with companion animals by organizing a donation campaign that customers can participate in directly.”

During the same period, 11st will hold a discount event gathering dog-exclusive products from leading pet product brands. More than 2,700 products including food, toys, and fashion accessories will be offered at a 10% discounted price, and an additional overlapping 10% discount coupon (up to 50,000 won) will also be issued.
