Lotte Central Research Institute Signs MOU with Pangse for Cultured Meat Development

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Central Research Institute has signed a business agreement with the cell-cultured meat company Pangse to promote future cultured meat technology research to address the food crisis.
On the 18th, Lotte Central Research Institute announced that it signed a "business agreement for the development of cultured meat technology and products using 3D-bioprinting technology" with Pangse on the 15th. Through this agreement, the two companies will begin building a partnership for the commercialization of cell-cultured meat and actively consider cooperation in information exchange and joint research.
Cultured meat refers to meat produced by culturing cells without slaughtering animals, replicating the main components of conventional meat. Pangse possesses technology that uses 3D-bioprinting to replicate the texture and form similar to real meat, and provides its own printing products and cell scaffold services for this purpose.
