Russia Bans Entry of 13 People Including UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson
Russia is reported to have banned the entry of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and others.
According to major foreign media on the 16th, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a ban on entry for 13 senior British officials and politicians, including Prime Minister Johnson, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, and Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.
The Ministry explained the measure as “a response to the UK government's unprecedented hostile actions, particularly the imposition of sanctions on senior Russian officials.” It also warned that the list of sanctioned individuals would soon be expanded.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, the UK designated a total of 206 people, including the wife of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as targets of sanctions. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the number of individuals and entities sanctioned by the UK has reached over 1,400.
