[Photo] KIPO and Korea Gas Corporation Join Hands to Develop Core Hydrogen Technology
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 15th, the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Gas Corporation for research and development of core technologies in the hydrogen supply chain. The agreement focuses on mutual cooperation between the two organizations to develop technologies for efficiently and economically storing and transporting large quantities of hydrogen in preparation for the anticipated increase in hydrogen demand. This includes ▲development of hydrogen liquefaction process technology ▲demonstration of hydrogen blending technology through natural gas pipelines ▲development of liquefied hydrogen storage tank technology.
