DB Insurance Signs Agreement with Korea Evaluation Data to Support ESG Management for SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] DB Insurance announced on the 15th that it signed a business agreement on the 14th with Korea Evaluation Data (KoDATA) to exchange work related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, including KoDATA's ESG self-assessment service for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies to promote ESG management.
KoDATA is the largest credit evaluation agency for SMEs in Korea, accumulating a credit evaluation database for SMEs, which have relatively less publicly available information compared to large corporations, and is used by most banks and investment institutions.
Through this agreement, DB Insurance plans to provide services such as self-assessment of ESG management status and practical application plans for SMEs, which have found it difficult to directly participate despite the growing social interest in ESG management domestically and internationally.
