On the 14th (local time), after the announcement of the invited films, Lee Jung-jae expressed through the distributor Megabox JoongAng Corp. Plus M, "I am grateful to the Cannes Film Festival" and said, "It is a great honor to have the first screening of my debut work at Cannes."

'Hunt' has been invited to the Midnight Screening section of the non-competitive category at the Cannes Film Festival, held from the 17th to the 28th of next month in Cannes, a city in southern France. This section screens genre films such as action, thriller, noir, horror, and fantasy that combine artistic quality and popularity.
Lee Jung-jae, who gained worldwide popularity last year with 'Squid Game,' is expected to attract attention by walking the red carpet at Cannes not as an actor but as a director. He will light up the nights of Cannes together with Jung Woo-sung, who is also an actor in the film and is known as the "Cheongdam-dong Couple" due to their close friendship.
