Enhancing Evaluation Efficiency and Supporting Growth Leap for InnoBiz Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) and the Innobiz Association (Chairman Lim Byung-hoon, hereinafter referred to as the Association) held a meeting with representatives of Innobiz companies (technology-innovative small and medium enterprises) on the 15th and announced that they signed a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement for the Extension Evaluation and Growth and Leap Support of Innobiz Companies."
This agreement was prepared to seek ways to improve policy support by jointly listening to the requests of Innobiz companies facing difficulties due to recent changes in domestic and international external environments and to enhance the efficiency of Innobiz certification work.
According to the agreement, Kibo plans to entrust part of the evaluation work to the Association to ensure that the extension evaluation of Innobiz companies is carried out efficiently and to support technology finance such as technology guarantees and investments for Innobiz companies with excellent technological capabilities and growth potential. The Association will build the infrastructure related to the Innobiz extension evaluation early to maintain the quality of the entrusted evaluation work and actively recommend companies with excellent technological capabilities and growth potential to Kibo, thereby cooperating mutually.

Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, said, "By efficiently performing the Innobiz evaluation work through the agreement between Kibo and the Association, the convenience of about 20,000 customers is expected to be greatly improved," adding, "Kibo recognizes Innobiz companies, which have made a great contribution to becoming a manufacturing powerhouse, as core customers and will actively support their growth into companies with technological competitiveness and future growth potential by preparing various technology finance products."
